I’m sure you have heard the latest Trump news—the things he said ten years ago about women. And now many are asking him to step down.
Well, as I sat and listened to what Paul Ryan, Tim Kaine, Megan Kelly and others had to say, I was furious! Why?
Because all those who are asking Trump to step down are just as bad if not worse. I’m sure they all have thought similar things. The bible says that all have sinned. Our hearts are full of sin. And our thoughts are just as sinful as our words.
But to you high minded Republicans (Sen. Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, Sen. Mike Crapo of Idaho, Rep. Bradley Byrne of Alabama. Rep. Joe Heck of Nevada, Sen. John McCain of Arizona, Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona, Sen. Cory Gardner of Colorado, Rep. Chris Stewart of Utah, Sen. Ben Sasse of Nebraska, South Dakota Gov.Dennis Daugaard, Rep. Frank LoBiondo of New Jersey, Rep. Scott Garrett of New Jersey, Rep. Justin Amash of Michigan, Former 2016 GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, Sen. John Thune of South Dakota, Rep. Mia Love of Utah, Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, Sen. Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia, Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, Rep. Mike Coffman of Colorado, Rep. Barbara Comstock of Virginia, U.S. Rep. Martha Roby of Alabama, Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, Alaska Sen. Dan Sullivan, Former Gov. George Pataki of New York), you make me sick. Jesus had some words for people like you…
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 “Even so you too outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness (Matt 23:27).
Yes, I think you fine, outstanding Republicans (mentioned above) are just like those Pharisees. You are hypocrites and you are like whitewashed tombs, which on the outside appear beautiful (oh yes, you look so upright!), but inside you are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness!
Yes, you walk around thinking you are so righteous—so much better then Donald Trump. Well, you are not!! Because he admits his sin, and I don’t think you ever will. You make me sick!!
Well what should we do with Donald Trump as He admits he sinned? Should we demand with the others that he step down? What did Jesus do when someone was caught in a sin? I think you know the story. The Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery to Jesus and ask Him what He would do with her. Did He demand that she be stoned as they intended to do and as the law prescribed? No. He instead, seeing their hypocrisy, said, let him who has not sinned cast the first stone (John 8:3-11).
